Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information NÖTRADE (“the App”, “we”, “us”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

Account information

When you create an account with email, we collect your email address and a password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase) and are never stored in plain text.

If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple sends us an email address and — only on your very first sign-in — your name, which we store as your display name. If you choose Hide My Email, Apple gives us a private relay address instead of your real one, and that relay address is the only way we can contact you. We never receive your Apple ID or its password.

Portfolio data

The App stores the data you enter to track your portfolio, including:

• Cryptocurrency and stock holdings (assets, quantities, purchase prices)
• Trade history and profit/loss records
• Periodic snapshots of your portfolio value (used to draw trend charts)
• Price alerts you configure
• The assets on your watchlist
• The wallets, insiders, and funds you follow in the Flows feed, including any custom label you give them

This data is linked to your account so it syncs across sessions and devices.

Subscription data

NÖTRADE PRO is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store. Apple processes the payment — we never see or store your card, billing address, or Apple ID. When a purchase completes, Apple gives the App a signed receipt, and we store only what is needed to keep PRO unlocked on your account: a transaction identifier from Apple, which plan you bought, and when the current period ends. One App Store purchase unlocks one NÖTRADE account.

Push notification token

If you enable notifications, we store a device push token so we can deliver price alerts and market summary notifications to your device. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not connect to your exchange or brokerage accounts, and we never have access to your funds. All holdings are entered manually by you.
• We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers.
• We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
• We do not collect payment information. Subscription payments are handled entirely by Apple.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the core functionality of the App: portfolio tracking, price charts, and profit/loss history
• To send you push notifications you have opted into (price alerts, market summaries, and news)
• To authenticate you and keep your data synced securely
• To check whether your NÖTRADE PRO subscription is active, so paid features are unlocked on your account

We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following services to function:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and backend hosting. Your account and portfolio data are stored here. See Supabase’s privacy policy.
• Expo Push Notification Service — delivery of push notifications. Your device push token is processed by Expo. See Expo’s privacy policy.
• Apple — Sign in with Apple, and payment and subscription management for NÖTRADE PRO through the App Store. See Apple’s privacy policy.

This Website

This site does not require an account and sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The market data on it is fetched by our servers from CoinGecko and Yahoo Finance and cached before it reaches you, so those providers do not see your browser. Your language preference is expressed in the URL rather than stored.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the App: open Account → Manage Account → Delete Account. You may also request deletion by contacting us at the email below. Upon deletion, your account information, holdings, trade history, snapshots, alerts, watchlist, follows, subscription record, and push tokens are permanently removed.

Deleting your account does not cancel an auto-renewing subscription — subscriptions live with your Apple ID, so cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Apple keeps its own record of your purchase, which we cannot delete.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored with access controls (row-level security) so that only you can access your portfolio data. Authentication tokens on your device are stored in the operating system’s secure storage.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Prices, charts, and AI-generated market summaries shown in the App are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted with an updated “Last updated” date.
